DHAKA: Awami League (AL) convened meeting of members of its parliamentary board and central working committee on Thursday evening.

The meeting will be held at Ganabhaban, PM official residence, around 6:00pm with Prime Minister and also Awami League president Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

AL general secretary and Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam urged all concerned to join the meeting on time, said a press release signed by AL office secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap.

Municipality election, council of Awami League, present state of the party and country’s ongoing political situation are likely to be discussed in the meeting, said party source.
