10 face arrest warrant in Gaibandha, Moulvibazar

DHAKA: International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 on Thursday issued two arrest warrants against 10 accused, including former Jamaat-e-Islami lawmaker Abdul Aziz alias Ghoramara Aziz, of Gaibandha and Moulvibazar for their crimes against humanity during the liberation war in 1971.

Of the accused, six are from Gaibandha and four from Raznagar of Moulvibazar.

ICT-1 tribunal, led by its chairman Justice Mohammad Anwarul Haque, issued the arrest warrants.

Prosecutor Sayedul Haque Sumon sought the arrest warrant against the accused from Gaibandha and prosecutor Sheikh Mushfique Kabir sought arrest warrant against the accused from Moulvibazar.
