SATKHIRA: Joint forces have arrested 27 including 10 activists of BNP and its major ally Jamaat-e-Islami in accusation of planning subversive attack in Satkhira district.

The arrest drives were conducted from Wednesday night to Thursday morning in different parts of the district.

Satkhira district police special branch sub-inspector (SI) Enamul Haque said that the joint forces conducted drives and arrested 27 including 2 activists from BNP and 6 from Jamaat and 2 from its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir.
