DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will meet 20-party alliance leaders on Thursday night.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at 9:00pm at BNP chief’s political office in city’s Gulshan area.

BNP press wing official Shayrul Kabir Khan told banglanews.

Regarding the meeting, one of the alliance leaders and also Bangladesh Nationalist Awami Party (NAP) general secretary Golam Mustafa Bhuiyan told banglanews that they had received the invitation and hopefully join the meeting.

Sources said that the current political situation and participation in the upcoming local government elections under party banner will be discussed at the meeting.

Earlier on Wednesday (November 25), BNP chief met its standing committee members and other major leaders and discussed about the issues.
