DHAKA: BNP spokesperson Dr Asaduzzaman Ripon said BNP-led 20-party will join the upcoming municipal election if voting day is deferred for 15 days.

He was addressing a press conference at BNP central office in city’s Nayapaltan area on Friday.

Several leaders of BNP central committee were present at the press meet.

Earlier, at a meeting of alliance leaders, held at Gulshan office on Thursday night, with BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia in the chair, BNP led 20-party alliance took decision in principle in joining the local government elections with party symbols and nomination.
