Jamaat men among 23 arrested in Satkhira

SATKHIRA: Police arrested 23 people, including seven activists of Jamaat-e-Islami, in allegation of planning for sabotage in Satkhira district.

The drives were conducted in eight thanas of the district between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Satkhira district police special branch sub-inspector (SI) Inamul Haque said that among the arrestees, 16 people including seven Jamaat men were accused in regular cases.
