DHAKA: Ruling Awami League (AL) organized a Victory Day procession in city on Wednesday.

Agriculture minister Matia Chowdhury inaugurated the procession at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) around 4:00pm.

The procession ended at Dhanmondi-32 around 5:20pm.

Matia Chowdhury urged people to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Dhaka metro Awami League president MA Aziz, general secretary Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya, AL joint general secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, Abdus Sobhan Golap, Haji Selim and Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, among others, addressed the program.

Leaders and activists of front organizations of Awami League took part in the procession.
