DHAKA: Election Commission (EC) will arrange municipality polls in Singair of Manikganj district on Thursday (January 7).

The election in the municipality was earlier set to be held on December 30.

However, the poll date later deterred on legal ground.

Later, the EC announced January 7 as the date of election.
