DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Friday convened a meeting of party standing committee.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan political office in city at 8:30pm on Saturday (January 23).

Chairperson’s press wing officer Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He further said Khaleda Zia called the meeting to discuss about party’s national council, reconstructing the party at grassroot level, ensuing political situation in the country and about the imminent union parisad polls.
