SATKHIRA: Police have arrested 51 accused, including six activists of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami, in different cases from different places of Satkhira district.

The drives conducted in eight thanas of the district between Wednesday night and Thursday dawn.

The arrestees have been sent to court this morning.

Satkhira district police sub-inspector (SI) and also information officer Kamal Hossain told banglanews that of the arrestees, six BNP-Jamaat men are accused in sabotage cases while others were accused in regular cases.
