DHAKA: A delegation of BNP is set to meet Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmed on Wednesday (March 2) afternoon to discuss on upcoming Union Parisad polls.

Party’s media wing officer Shairul kabir informed the matter to banglanews this morning.

The team led by BNP standing committee Dr Abdul Moin Khan will hold a meeting to talk with the CEC on upcoming Union Parisad elections, he added.

The first phase of six-phase elections will be held on March 22.

The party has been raising allegations since the beginning that their candidates are facing harassment and obstruction during nomination submission.
