DHAKA: Activists of Jamaat-e-Islam Bangladesh and its student front Islami Chhatra Shibir locked into clashes with police in between Moghbazar and Mouchak in city on Tuesday noon (March 8).

The OC said, Jamaat-Shibir men brought out a procession there protesting Supreme Court verdict that upheld death penalty to Jamaat’s top financer Mir Quasem Ali for war crimes.

Later, they threw brick-bats when police obstructed their procession.
