PIROJPUR: A supporter of BNP chairman candidate in the upcoming Union Parisad elections was killed in an attack of rival in Nazirpur upazila of Pirojpur district.
The deceased was identified as Shamsul Haque Chhotto (27), joint convener of Nazirpur upazila Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) and general secretary of Sheikhmatiya UP JCD.
He succumbed to his injuries at Khulna Medical College and Hospital on early hours of Wednesday (March 9).
