DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia announced ‘Vision 2030’ to ensure development, happiness and solvency in the country with the spirit of war of independence.

She made this announcement at the party’s 6th national council on Engineers Institute, Bangladesh premises in city on Saturday (March 19).

The BNP chief said that her party’s ‘Vision 2030’ will provide free education up to graduation to the girls and class 10 to boys. It will increase scholarships for students for higher education.

‘It will also put importance on ICT,’ she added.

Mentioning BNP’s founder late president Ziaur Rahman’s initiation of multi-party democracy in the country, Khaleda Zia said that her party always put emphasis on a free and fair election with the participation of all parties in the country.

She also called on the government to sit for dialogue to create a democratic environment in the country.

‘BNP will keep friendly relations with its neighbors and establish connectivity among them.’

The BNP chief also expressed her party’s zero tolerance to violence, militancy and extremism.
