DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia paid her tribute to the valiant son of the soil by placing floral wreath at National Memorial at Savar, at the outskirt of Dhaka, on Saturday morning (March 26), the 46th Independence and National Day.

The BNP leader placed the wreath along with her party leaders around 8:20am.

Acting BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Dr Abdul Moin Khan, Lieutenant General (retd) Mahbubur Rahman and many others were present during the time.

Later, the leaders and activists of front organizations of BNP like Jubo Dal, Mohila Dal, Swechhasebak Dal, Jatiyatabadi Muktijuddha Projonmo and other organizations paid their tribute to the martyrs.
