DHAKA: Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has been declared BNP Secretary General after 11 days of party council.

Besides, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi was made senior joint secretary general and industrialist Mizanur Rahman Sinha as treasurer of the party.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi himself made the declaration as party spokesman at a press briefing at Naya Paltan central office on Wednesday (March 30).
