COMILLA: Police seized 15 cocktails from a home near Dertiti Primary School polling center of Abra union under Barura upazila of the district on Thursday morning (March 31).

Muradnagar Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He also said the cocktails were seized from the house of ruling Awmai League nominated chairman runner Manjur Alam’s grandfather around 9:00am.

Meanwhile, voting in 639 union parishads (UP) of the country was held on Thursday amid tight security.

Over 1.12-crore voters exercised their franchise rights in the second phase of UP polls in 6,205 polling centers on the day.
