DHAKA: At least six people were killed, dozens injured in several clashes in some districts during second phase voting of Union Parishad election on Thursday.

Three people killed in Sandip of Chittagong, one each in Lalpur, Jessore and Keraniganj of Dhaka.

The elections started at 8:00am and continued till 4:00pm. Over 1.12-crore voters exercised their franchise rights in 6,205 polling centers on the day.
