DHAKA: Newly appointed Bangladesh Bank (BB) governor Fazle Kabir thanked the delegation of BNP for submitting a report on how to recover the heist money from the BB reserve.

BNP’s former financial affairs secretary Abdus Salam made this assertion while talking to journalists after submitting the report to the governor on Monday (April 4).

Expressing party’s concern over the heist, the BNP leader said they had prepared the report after consulting with the local and international experts.

Terming the heist incident as ‘digital robbery’, BNP alleged the central bank officials used the SWIFT system to withdraw the money.

On March 29, BNP’s ICT expert Shama Obaid presented a report to journalists.

They submitted the same report to the BB governor.
