DHAKA: At least six people killed and over 100 injured in clashes at several districts during fourth phase Union Parishad (UP) polls on Saturday (May 8).

Most of the clashes erupted among supporters of Awami League supported and rebel candidates.

The deceased were from- Rajshahi, Thakurgaon, Gaibandha, Narsingdi and Comilla.

Voting held in 703 Union Parishads (UP) in 88 upazilas of 46 districts in the fourth phase on Saturday (May 7) amid tight security.
