CHITTAGONG: A Mobile court has sentenced city Chhatra League general secretary Nurul Azim Rony for 2 years of imprisonment on Sunday (May 8).

Hathazari Thana duty officer SI Azizur Rahman confirmed this to banglanews adding Rony and other nine people were nabbed during a BGB raid by judicial magistrate Harunur Rashid outside the polls center on Saturday (May 7).

A 9MM pistol, 15 round bullets and Tk 26000 were found with the BCL leader. Rony has been sent to the Chittagong Central Jail.
