Jamaat secretary arrested in Pirojpur

PIROJPUR: Police have arrested secretary of Bhandaria upazila unit of Jamaat-e-Islami Tamij Uddin Mia (48).

He was caught from the municipality area in the upazila in Pirojpur district on Tuesday afternoon (May 10).

Bhandaria Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Mohammad Qamruzzaman Talukdar told banglanews that Tamij was accused in several vandalism and sabotage cases filed with the thana.
