Khaleda faces defamation suit

DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia faced a defamatory suit on Sunday (May 15) for her recent remark on 300 million dollars in Sajeeb Wazed Joy’s account.

Jananerti Parishad president AB Siddiqui filed this case with Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court.

Earlier, on May 1, the BNP chief delivered a speech on May Day at Suhrawardi Udyan in city alleging that PM’s son Joy has an account of USD 300 millions.
