DHAKA: BNP has announced 15-day program to mark 35th death anniversary of its founder and also former president Ziaur Rahman.

The program will begin from May 24.

The party’s senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement to the media after a joint meeting at BNP central office in city on Sunday (May 15).

He said that BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and party leaders and activists will place wreath to the tomb of party founder at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in city on May 30.

A discussion with Khaleda Zia as chief guest will be arranged at Engineers Institution Bangladesh auditorium on May 31.
