DHAKA: British high commissioner to Bangladesh Alison Blake called on BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Wednesday afternoon (May 18).

The meeting was held at BNP chief’s Gulshan political office in city.

Sources said they talked about various bilateral issues and ensuing condition in Bangladesh.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, chairperson’s advisers Riaz Rahman and Sabih Uddin Ahmed were present in the meeting.

Riaz Rahman told journalists that Blake paid a courtesy call.
