DHAKA: Voting has been postponed in at least three centers in Gaibandha and Noakhali districts on allegation of clashes between supporters of candidates and snatching ballot boxes on Saturday (May 28).
The centers are Jibangari Government Primary School and Tardah centers at Gobindaganj upazila of Gaibandha and Kalairaita Government Primary School center in Senbagh upazila of Noakhali.

Gaibandha: At least five people were injured as a clash ensued between the supporters of an independent chairman candidate and ruling Awami League (AL) candidate at Jibangari Government Primary School center around 10:00am.
Police fired several rounds of teargas shells to bring the situation under control.
Following the clash, voting was postponed in the center.
Meanwhile, voting at Tardah center of the upazila was postponed on allegation of snatching ballot boxes.
District election officer Shahinur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Noakhali: Presiding officer Liton Chakrabarty postponed voting at Kalairaita Government Primary School center in Senbagh upazila as miscreants stole away ballot boxes early Saturday.
