COMILLA: A rival candidate of BNP for chairmanship in ongoing Union Parishad (UP) election was killed by opposition group’s attack at a polling center under Titas upazila of the district.

The incident took place on Saturday afternoon (May 28).

Titas Thana officer-in-charge (OC) confirmed the matter to banglanews saying the incident occurred at Nagerchar Government Primary School in Balarampur union around 2:45pm.
