MUNSHIGANJ: Twenty three chairmen, who were elected in the third and fourth phases of Union Parishad (UP) polls, have taken oath on Wednesday (June 15).

Of them, two chairmen were from Sadar, 11 from Tangibari and 10 from Lohajang upazilas.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Saiful Hasan Badal administered the oath taking ceremony at his office in the morning, reports Banglanews24.com’s correspondent.

Deputy Director of local government department of Munshiganj Abu Saleh Mohammad Mohiuddin, police super Biplob Bijoy Talukdar, district elections officer Faisal Qader and other district administration high-ups and dignitaries attended the ceremony.
