DHAKA: The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) will deliver its verdict any day on the trial of eight war crimes accused including former Jessore-6 MP of Jatiya Party Shakhawat Hossain.
A three-member ICT kept the judgment waiting (CAV- Curia advisari vult) after final hearing on Thursday (July 14).
Two of the accused are in prison and the rest six accused are at large.
The accused were allegedly involved in killing two persons, raping one and torturing two others in Keshabpur of Jessore.
All the incidents took place in the Bangla month of Ashwin (between mid-September and mid-October) in 1971, according to the prosecution.
