RAJSHAHI: Police arrested two members of Islami Chhatra Shibir and a member of outlaw militant outfit Jamaat-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) by conducting separate drives in Bagmara upazila of the district on Thursday (July 14).

Bagmara Thana police informed the media on the day.

The detainees were identified as Korban Ali (26), former president of Bagmara upazila unit Islami Chhatra Shibir and Shafiqul Islam (27), a Shibir activist and Mamun Muhuri, a JMB member of the upazila.

Bagmara Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Selim Hossain told banglanews that the arrestees are accused in several cases.
