BNP delegation left for UK

DHAKA: A delegation of BNP leaders led by its general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir left Dhaka for United Kingdom (UK) in response to an invitation of British House of Lords.

The team left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in city around 11:10am Saturday (July 16) with a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

BNP chairperson’s press wing officer Shairul Kabir Khan informed the matter to banglanews.

The delegation included BNP chairperson’s advisor Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Sabih Uddin Ahmed and assistant law affairs secretary Nitai Roy Chowdhury.

They will join an international seminar “Global politics: context Bangladesh” which will be attended by a delegation of ruling Awami League (AL).
