7-year jail for Gias Uddin Mamun upheld

DHAKA: The High Court (HC) on Thursday (July 21) upheld the seven year imprisonment of Gias Uddin Al Mamun, friend of BNP Senior Vice Chairman Tarique Rahman, in a money laundering case.

An HC bench comprising Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Amir Hossain passed the verdict in the morning.
