RAJSHAHI: Police arrested a local unit Jamaat-e-Islami leader, accused in sabotage cases, from Krishnapur village under Puthia upazila of the district early Sunday (July 31).

The arrestee was identified as Hafizur Rahman (48), joint publicity secretary of Jamaat’s Puthia upazila unit.

Puthia Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Hafizur Rahman told this matter to banglanews adding that acting on tip-off police conducted a drive at the Jamaat leader’s house.
