DHAKA: Krishak Sramik Janata League president Abdul Quader Siddique on Thursday (August 4) declined to form political alliance with Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.
He further said: “I want to die following the political teachings of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.”
Quader Siddique came up with the assertions after holding a meeting with BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at her residence, Firoza, in city at night.
The meeting started around 8:00pm, reported banglanews correspondent.
The veteran politician also said he would fight till his last breath to destroy any conspiracy against Bangabandhu’s daughter, incumbent Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He further said he would also fight to avert any conspiracy against freedom fighter Ziaur Rahman’s wife Khaleda Zia, the chairperson of most popular opposition party in the country.
