RANGPUR: Police has arrested as many as 65 people including two activists of Jamaat-e-Islami in different cases in the district on Friday (August 5).
The law enforcers conducted the drives in eight upazilas from Thursday night (August 4) to Friday morning (August 5).
Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) B-circle Mohammad Saifur Rahman said that the arrestees are accused for creating sabotage, robbery and anti-terror cases.
The arrestees are sent to the prison through in the morning, the ASP added.
