LALMONIRHAT: Police arrested Patgram upazila unit Shibir president Soheb Ahmed from his residence at Bherbherihat village in the upazila of the district early Saturday.

Patgram Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Abinisankor Kaur told banglanews that Soheb Ahmed, 29, son of Afsar Ali was accused in two cases in sadar and Patgram thanas.

He was produced before the court Saturday noon (August 13), the OC added.

On the other hand, 26 people were arrested during drives in different areas in the district.
