PABNA: A group of miscreants hacked a member of Union Parishad (UP) to death at Dhopadaha union of Santhia upazila of the district on early Tuesday (August 16).

The deceased was identified as Shah Zaman, son of late Aynal Fakir of Paikoshakhali village.

Santhia Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Nasir Uddin told banglanews that on information they recovered the body and sent it to Pabna General Hospital morgue.
