RANGPUR: Police arrested three activists of Jamaat-e-Islami among 55 people in drives conducted in several areas in the district.

The drives were conducted from Saturday (September 3) night to early Sunday (September 4).

Rangpur Division Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Abdullah Al Faruk confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

He said the arrestees were facing charge-sheets in different cases and would be sent to Rangpur jail through court.
