Kader Siddique urges govt to give Rohingyas shelter

DHAKA: Krishak Sramik Janata League president Abdul Kader Siddique urged Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to provide shelter to the displaced Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar.

He made the request at a human chain program organized in front of National Press Club in city on Saturday (November 26).

Give the Rohingyas shelter in Bangladesh until the situation becomes normal, he added.

Krishak Sramik Janata League, Nagarik Oikya and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal jointly organized the program demanding the cancellation of Rampal power project.

Abdul Kader Siddique said that government should open Bangladesh border with Myanmar to give shelter of Rohingya Muslims on humanitarian ground.

He also demanded the government to release Nagarik Oikya president Mahmudur Rahman Manna.
