DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is scheduled to return home Wednesday (October 18), after spending almost three months for treatment of her eye and knee in London.

The BNP chief’s press wing member Shyrul Kabir Khan told Banglanews that Khaleda Zia will return home in a flight of Emirates Airlines.

She is expected to arrive in Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 05:40pm.

Earlier, Khaleda Zia left Dhaka for London on July 15.
 
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the BNP Chief will be given warm reception at the airport.

Huge showdown programs will be arranged on behalf of the party, marking her arrival, said Fakhrul.  

Sources said that BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi is holding meetings with the BNP units of Dhaka and adjacent areas, as part of preparation for the program.

However, BNP didn’t make any formal announcement regarding the program yet.
