HABIGANJ: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-9) detained 5 members of banned militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Habiganj on Sunday (December 10).

RAB also seized some Jihadi books and leaflets from them.
 
The matter was confirmed in a press briefing on Monday (December 11).
 
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Moniruzzaman of RAB-9 Sylhet told Banglanews that the detainees admitted their involvement in JMB in the initial interrogation. However, they will be transferred to Habiganj Sadar Model police station.

Habiganj Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Yasinul Huq told Banglanews that the detainees were handed over to the court.
