DHAKA: State Minister for Law Quamrul Islam on Wednesday categorically alleged that it is being spread out confusion over the leak of verdict of Salauddin Quader Chowdhury.

The state minister made the observation in a press briefing at the ministry in the afternoon.

He said, “The registrar of the tribunal has already filed a general diary regarding the incident with Shahbagh Thana and the Detective Branch of Police has been given the responsibility to investigate into the matter.”
 
The culprits would be arrested as soon as the investigation was over, he said.

The minister also said the remarks made by BNP Chairperson’s Advisor Khandaker Mahbub Hossain and senior leader Moudud Ahmed about the verdict are ‘contempt of court.

He also urged them to withdraw it.
