GAZIPUR: Communications Minister Obaidul Quader on Wednesday said the free and fair general polls is only way to oust incumbent government.

The communications minister came up with the observation while talking to reporters after visiting the work on the four-lane project of Dhaka-Mymensingh highway and Mirzapur-Masterbari road and local cattle market on Wednesday.

Obaidul Quader said, “The opposition could not overthrow the government in the last four and three-quarter years and it is impossible to believe that they can do it within next 20-22 days.”   

He also said potholes on different highways would be repaired within the next seven days.
