DHAKA: Joint Convener of Dhaka City BNP Ahsanullah Hasan, also former councilor of Ward no-6, was held for his alleged involvement in plotting to create anarchic situation.

Mirpur Model Thana Police held him on Wednesday noon.

Police sources said that they have been arrested for their involvement with planning for destructive activities.

Officer-in-Charge of Mirpur Model Thana Salahuddin Khan told banglanews: “Acting on a tip-off, we have arrested Hasan, an influential leader of Mirpur area, on allegation of plotting for destructive activities ahead of October 25.”
