DHAKA: Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal men locked into a scuffle with Chhatra Shibir men in front of stage of 18-party rally at capital Suhrawardy Udyan on Friday afternoon.

The rally started at 2:15pm through addressing by Chhatra Shibir secretary Abdul Jabber with city BNP convener Sadek Hossain Khoka in the chair.

Hundreds of leaders and activists of Chhatra Shibir thronged the venue from the morning and took position in front of the stage.

Just before starting the rally, Chhatra Dal tried to take position in front of the stage that prompted scuffle with Shibir men.
