Opener Tamim Iqbal has requested the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to exclude him from the board's central contract list.
Tamim had earlier retired from International cricket but reversed the decision a day later after the intervention of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
However, he skipped several series of Bangladesh then including the World Cup.
"He said he has his own plan and therefore he requested us not to include him in the central contract list," BCB Cricket Operations Chairman Jalal Younus said here today (December 24).
"He is supposed to meet the BCB president after the national election to decide the next course of action. Till then we have to wait."
Recently Tamim met BCB president Papon in person for the first time after the World Cup.
Papon later informed that Tamim had contacted him to disclose many internal matters of the team that the BCB president wasn't aware of.
The BCB chief said a decision will be made in this regard after he talked to all parties.
