Tamim Iqbal was hospitalized after experiencing chest pain during a Dhaka Premier League (DPL) match against Shinepukur Cricket Club in Savar on Monday morning.

According to sources, Mohammedan Sporting Club captain Tamim suddenly felt discomfort in his chest while playing at BKSP. 

Medical assistance was promptly administered on the field, and he was quickly transferred to the hospital for further evaluation. 

In response to the emergency, a helicopter was dispatched to BKSP to transport him for urgent medical treatment.
