The seventh round of the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL), the country’s second-tier professional football competition, will commence tomorrow (April 6) following the Eid-ul-Fitr break.
Three exciting matches are set to take place at various venues in and around the capital.
On Sunday, Arambagh Krira Sangha will face PWD Sports Club at the Bashundhara Kings Arena practice ground, while Little Friends Club takes on Uttar Baridhara Club at Fortis Ground.
In the final match of the day, Dhaka Rangers Football Club will meet BFF Elite Football Academy at Shaheed Batkat Stadium in Gazipur. All matches are scheduled to start at 2:45 pm.
The remaining seventh-round fixtures will be played on Monday, with City Club facing Wari Club at the Bashundhara Kings Arena practice ground and BRTC Sports Club taking on Farashganj Sporting Club at Fortis Ground.
After the sixth round, Arambagh Krira Sangha leads the standings with 18 points, followed by PWD Sports Club with 13 points. Little Friends Club is currently in seventh place with 5 points, while Uttar Baridhara Club sits at the bottom of the table with just 2 points.
BFF Elite Football Academy holds third place with 11 points, while Dhaka Rangers Football Club is in fifth place with 8 points. City Club ranks fourth with 9 points, while Wari Club is in ninth with 4 points.
BRTC Sports Club occupies seventh place with 6 points, and Farashganj Sporting Club sits in eighth with 5 points.
