Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., the eldest son of Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, has received his first call-up to the Portugal Under-15 national team.
The 14-year-old forward currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr’s youth academy, following in the footsteps of his iconic father, who stars for the senior side. His inclusion in the national youth squad marks a significant step in the teenager’s budding football career.
Ronaldo Sr., 40, who remains the highest-scoring player in men's international football history with 136 goals, proudly shared the national team’s U-15 squad list on his social media platforms with a brief but heartfelt message: “Proud of you, son!”
Cristiano Jr. has previously trained with youth setups at top European clubs, including Juventus and Manchester United, where his father once played. His progression into Portugal’s youth ranks has been closely followed by fans and media alike, many of whom see him as a potential heir to the Ronaldo legacy.
The Portugal U-15 call-up adds a new chapter to the family’s football journey, as the younger Ronaldo begins to carve out his own path on the international stage.
