DHAKA: Sri Lanka clinched the easiest and quickest win in the World T20 match of Super10 phase beating Netherlands by 9 wickets at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong.

They lost only one wicket to reach the 40-run winning target with 15-over remaining.

Earlier Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to field first.

Netherlands lost all wickets to score only 39 runs in 10.3-over.

AD Mathews and BAW Mendis bagged three wickets each while SL Malinga picked two wickets.

AD Mathews was announced player of the match.
